Keep reading and "hopping" until you find yourself back where you started from. Each blog will showcase a project featuring the
Basics Fundamentals Paper Pack and coordinating products.

I made this scrapbooking layout for my Son's album, taking the idea from a CTMH design and changing up the colours to suit. I used Crystal Blue cardstock for the photo mats and scalloped edge. The paw prints are from the background stamp "Paws" (only $4.50!) and using Espresso Ink.
I stamped "So" onto a circle of white cardstock and the word "little" is from my stash of Complements.

When I finished my pages I had an idea to make a birthday card using the Paws stamp and the Punny Pals stamp set, which is our Operation Smile fundraising set. I used the Dog and the Yappy Birthday sentiment.
First I adhered the two 3/4" x 5.5" strips down the outside edges. I stamped the paws with Espresso Ink on a 3" x 5.5" linen piece and stuck that down next. Then I stamped the dog and sentiment onto a 2" square and coloured it with my finest waterbrush and the watercolour pencils pictured.

I used 3D foam tape to adhere the square onto a darker piece of 2.5 x 2.75 paper, then stuck this onto the card. I then used glue dots to adhere the ribbons. The one on the left is from Basics Fundamentals Ribbon pack and the other is from my stash. The last thing I did was use our Gold Shimmer Brush to colour the dog's collar and draw a line freehand down the edge of the paws-stamped piece.

I love how this card turned out!

Look what you can do with your scraps and zip strips!
First I chose to cover the front of a White Daisy Value Pack card with Seaglass Cardstock before cutting out a circle. I then used Zip Strips from the paper pack and 1/4" wide strips of coordinating cardstock (Emerald, Sapphire and Sorbet) to adhere to the circle.
I turned it over and trimmed the excess off with scissors, just like I did in my last blog post for the scrapbooking layout below, and adhered it to the inside of the card. I used another zip strip, some Prickly Pear Complements stickers and sequins to embellish. The border inside I drew with my journaling pen.

These next card follows a similar design using the Hearts Thin Cuts and the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder using Lemon cardstock on the front.

Prickly Pear Scrapbooking Layout - Family Time

Prickly Pear Scrapbooking Layout - Family Time

at my scrapbooking workshops.
This page in the Idea Book was my inspiration for my layout. I wasn't too excited by the cactus paper in this pack but all the other bright papers are really nice!
To start you need to cut a circle from any cardstock or light coloured paper to use as the background. I left a tiny gap between the stripes so you will see the background. I used a dinner plate to trace around and cut out the circle.
Cut 1"x12" strips from your patterned papers. I used two from each of these four designs.
Cut 1/2" strips from co-ordinating cardstock. I cut two each from Sorbet, Sapphire and Emerald. Lay the strips out in the order you are happy with and starting at the top of your circle, adhere the first strip. I used the Bonding Memories Broad Tip Glue Pen and saved half of this first strip to use at the bottom of the circle. If your circle is smaller you won't use as many strips.
Continue to adhere the strips, leaving a small gap between each piece if you wish. When finished, turn over and cut around the circle to remove the excess.
My circle was 11.25" in diameter so I found the halfway point with my ruler and marked where to cut. I used my SureCut Paper Trimmer to cut down the middle and adhered each half to my base pages.
I cut photo mats from Sapphire Cardstock. The left side has a 5x7", 4x4" and 2.75x4" journal mat. The right side has two 4x4" and two 4x6" mat. The white journal box is 2.5x3.75".
Next I used a few of the offcuts to make a little dovetail collection for the corner of the page and drew a border by hand with my Journaling Pen around the entire border and the journal box.
I stamped the title using the Prickly Pear Scrapbooking stamp set. I stamped Family in Emerald Ink,  Time in Sorbet and Is the best time in Emerald again. Finally I added a few hearts and flower stickers from the Complements pack.

Here's another look at the layout to save you scrolling back to the top!
You will find all the co-ordinating products in our current Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book, which is only available until the end of August.

Hello Foxy S1706 Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the
Hello Foxy S1706 Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.

you are in the right place. Simply read through this post and click on the link to the next blog at the end. Don't forget to Pin any ideas to Pinterest to save for later!  Keep reading and ‘hopping’ until you find yourself back where you started from.  Each blog will showcase a project featuring the Hello Foxy SOTM S1706.
It seems I've been colouring a lot lately. On my cards and scrapbook layouts. I just love the endless possibilities with colour whether I choose Watercolour Pencils, Paints, ShinHan Markers or Exclusive Inks Stamp pads. I've mixed it up with this card, using pencils to lightly shade the "grass" and colour the playful foxes and ShinHans for the flowers. I also cut the HELLO LOVE stamp in half so I could just use the HELLO by itself.

The marker colours I used were Vivid Green, Golden Yellow and Carmine. The cardstock colour is Willow.

I also made a border for a page layout using the wreath along the top of the border like I did with the card. This time I coloured with Peony Purple instead of the Carmine, which matched the Little Dreamer paper I used perfectly.

I used our Love Thin Cuts to cut out a 4x6" mat and drew a border freehand in Vivid Green. I love this kid!

Here are more card designs from CTMH.

Don't forget to Pin any ideas to Pinterest to save for later!  Keep reading and ‘hopping’ until you find yourself back where you started from.  Each blog will showcase a project featuring the Live Beautifully, National Scrapbooking Month collection.

This stunning Paper Pack, Cut Above Kit and Stamp Set are only available this month and then they are gone for good!
The Live Beautifully Paper Pack is $23

The Live Beautifully Stamp Set is $27

The Cut Above Kit and Album Bundle are also available and you can check them out on your CTMH Consultant's website or use my link at the end of this post.

This month I would like to showcase these cards I have made. The floral paper is stunning and the gorgeous flowers on this stamp can be coloured in so many ways for a totally different look each time!

For this card I stamped a piece of black cardstock with White Daisy pigment ink. Once it was dry I use a pink Watercolour Pencil to colour each petal. I shaded from the bottom areas of each petal gradually, leaving the tops white. I love how this one turned out.

The next card was really quick and easy to do, showcasing this beautiful paper. I added the green ribbon from the Enchantment Ribbon Pack, a little dovetailed sentiment adhered with foam tape and some Gold Glitter Gems.

S1705 Live, Laugh, Love Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Close To My Heart
Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from
then you are in the right place! If you have landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

I would like to share with you a page layout and a card I have created featuring the May Stamp of the Month, Live Laugh Love S1705. This stamp set is available during this month only, for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.

I decided to play with my CTMH watercolour paints to make a background for a page layout and then stamp the words over the top. I'm really happy with the way this turned out and decided to make a card as well!

Don't forget to Pin it to Pinterest

I started with a green/yellow/orange/pink blended background on an 11" square of Watercolour paper. I normally just use our White Daisy cardstock but I had a spare sheet to use this time. I also applied the same colours, just a bit darker, to some white scraps so I could stamp my flowers and leaves.

I went away and had dinner and came back to finish when they were dry. I stamped the leaves and flowers with Black Memento Ink then cut them all out.
I stamped the "Laugh" in the bottom corner of my page first and then lined up the other two words above it. I then stamped "Together" and drew a freehand border with my journaling pen.

After matting my 5x7" photo in black I mounted the whole page onto a sheet of black 12x12" cardstock. I then arranged the flowers how I liked them and adhered some of them with 3D foam tape and others with Tombow, adding Bitty Sparkles as well.

I used the same design for this card however I used my finest watercolour brush to colour the flowers and leaves on the stamp. Note how the colours all match because I used watercolour paints for the background, the flowers and to colour in the stamped image. I hope you like them!

Some Kinda Wonderful Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to the CTMH Some Kinda Wonderful Blog Hop.  This is a circular hop.  If you arrived here from  Lauren Moore- CTMH Craftings you are in the right place. Simply read through this post and click on the link to the next blog at the end. Don't forget to Pin any ideas to Pinterest to save for later!  Keep reading and ‘hopping’ until you find yourself back where you started from.  Each blog will showcase a project featuring the Some Kinda Wonderful Workshops Your Way kit.
This collection is from our current Seasonal Expressions catalogue which finishes at the end of this month! Make sure you revisit this catalogue and order your favourites before April 30th.
I have made many cards and page layouts using these papers over the last couple of months! They're so much fun to work with and I'll showcase just a few here.

For this card I used a strip of Willow cardstock, White Twine and Mini Staples. The stamps are from the Some Kinda Wonderful - Cardmaking stamp set (C1673). Aren't they cute? I coloured them in with my Watercolour pencils, added a bit of Shimmer Brush and adhered them with 3D foam tape. You can find the kit here.
Some Kinda Wonderful - Cardmaking stamp C1673

For this card I used the Whisper pattern and Willow stripe papers from Some Kinda Wonderful as well as the White Twine and White Dots from the kit. As you can see, the papers in this pack aren't all hot pink! The Hello stamp is from the Dreamin' Big - Scrapbooking Stamp set D1714 and I've coloured it in with my ShinHan Markers.

This is a layout I did in using the January Stamp of the Month.

This layout was done at a Consultant scrapbooking day and was designed by another Consultant. I just love the bright, fun colours and found the perfect photos for it.

Remember these products are only available until April 30th.
